Chicken Nuggets - Fetal Chicks

Woodfired in an anagama kiln to cone 13, these tiny chicks fit in the palm of your hand and measure only a couple inches long. They are made using Jack Troy Anagama clay.

Delicately formed using a pinch pot building style, these little birds are about the size of a real chick. No glaze was used on them, with only the flashing of the fire and the effects of the wood ash providing natural colour. Curled up in a tight ball, these chicks appear to have just tumbled out of their eggs. They are available for purchase at $8 each, plus shipping.
